Manual drip lock increases control of the filtration process

The Moccamaster Manual coffee maker is equipped with an adjustable drip stop. When closed, it stops the coffee from dripping if you want to remove the coffee pot from the machine during filtration. The semi-open position extends the contact time between water and coffee.

The Moccamaster Manual has two separate heating elements. One makes coffee at the optimum filtration temperature of 92-96°C. The other keeps the coffee at an optimal serving temperature of 80-85°C.

The coffee maker switches itself off automatically after 40 minutes. This guarantees safe use and also takes the environment into account.
